We get a lot of questions about our bike setups, gear and how we pack everything – so we’ve decided to give you the full run-down of our current setups, including how we pack them. Having cycled long distances for over 2 years now; making the progression from classic touring setups to rigid MTBs, we feel like we’ve finally found the balance between weight & the ability to pack for long trips.
Welcome to our latest bike & gear list
Something else to note here is we have vastly different sized bikes. Unlike Sam’s XL monster truck, Bec rides a medium frame, but keeps the 29″ wheel size. This means she struggles to run a large seat pack without it rubbing on her rear wheel. So she’s adopted a hybrid set-up with lightweight, custom panniers at the rear and a harness style front roll at the helm.
